Sometimes I name my creations as if they are people or spirits. Made from birdcages, metal remnants, antiques, and a tree trunk, Yuleth is my imitation of Christ.

Cart

The Cart was conceived as a spiritual emergency vehicle. The user installs make-shift candleholders—over a hundred steel rings, each welded to a nail—in otherwise dark places, and sets a beeswax candle in the ring.  The candles and cart were used in the short film "Response."

Suitcase Archive

A suitcase that opens in three parts: an open archive, a closed archive, and a transparent archive.  This is, for me, like the human being: part open, part transparent, part closed or hidden. I store various drawings in the suitcase and display them in three parts depending on the meaning of the drawing.
